The Department of Sociology and Anthropology offers minors and Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degrees in Sociology and Anthropology.

Our faculty contribute to several related minors offered at the University of Mississippi. Students majoring in Sociology or Anthropology who are interested in focusing on a specific area should consider adding one of these minors to their degree program.

The department also offers summer field school programs in Mississippi, Virginia, Bolivia, and Zambia.
